Who We Are? !

We are a gathering of congregations committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ in a united effort of faith and service to Alliance, Ohio and the surrounding communities.

What We Do? !

Our mission is a three-fold purpose:
1. Ministerial Association - offering pastors fellowship, spiritual and educational opportunities as a support to their individual ministries.
2. Community Worship Convener - offering spiritual support to the community through such events as the Lenten Lunch Series, Good Friday Service, National Day of Prayer events, and Thanksgiving Services.
3. Emergency Aid Programs - offering financial and other assistance to individuals in need.

Where We Are? !

What We Need? !

"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me."
Matthew 25:40

Alliance of Churches survives on contributions from area individuals, churches, and organizations. Monetary contributions are needed for Emergency Aid Programs, Educational Events, Community Worship Events, and for general operating expenses.

Volunteers are needed to help answer telephones, file, and assist with event planning, newsletter preparation, proposal writing, and delivery of mailings.

The Alliance of Churches is looking for someone to pick up day-old bread at the College Plaza and deliver it to the Alliance of Churches offices located in the Alliance Neighborhood Center. You would only need to volunteer for one date a month. (If the date falls on a weekend, then you don't have to do it.) The pick up time is between 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning. The amount varies, but averages around two laundry baskets full. They will help unload it at the Neighborhood Center. Call Peggy Hawkins at the AOC between 9:00 am and Noon for more information or to volunteer.
